Day Two

Woke up feeling never better, jumping around ready for the day, went down to the lobby and had a banana muffin… nice. Then off we walked to the F.I.T, we saw two amazing exhibitions, American Beauty was my favourite and got me in a really good
mood for shopping!

After F.I.T we went to the Empire State Building, which was really exciting, walked into the lobby and thought of ELF straight away. Then we were going up the lift, something like 85 floors, wow, my ears popped all the way.

We then reached our destination and wooow, it was incredible, like nothing I had every seen before. I was hoping to see Cary Grant or Tom Hanks, but they weren’t there, never mind.

You could still hear the sirens from that high. I just didn’t want to leave it looked so beautiful.

Then we decided to get a bite to eat at Chipotle which was amazing. It is sort of like a subway but for burritos, so yum yum, cheese, sour cream, chicken, peppers, onions etc. Never been so full, it was just so yummy, but what made it really amazing was that it was served in a red basket, which I have seen in countless movies and have always wanted to eat out of one hehe

Then proceeded to lots and lots of shops.

I got particularly excited when I saw the Disney Store, got my photo taken outside of it first, then proceeded to the door to then work out that it was closed.

But we did go to some incredible stores such as Tiffany’s , ohh emm gee, it was incredible, everything you could possibly imagaine, all the staff were so friendly.

We shopped and shopped for the rest of the day, the next thing I knew we were on a street which was heading down to Time’s Square, wooow, we were all too excited, we couldn’t believe that we had ended here. It was unbelievable, all the billboards and digital screens, it was so astonishing.

And of course when we were there, the red light staircase was in the middle of Times Square, which had featured in Jay-Z feat Alicia Keys – Empire State of Mind music video, so yes, we stood on the same stairs Jay-Z and Alicia Keys had hehe

Looking for food again, by the way, Lottie, Chelsea, Shelby and I went to some of the most fantastic restaurants, enjoying and eating was always going to be a BIG part of my experience. Well anyway we ended up at a lovely diner.

I had a pink lemonade and a yummy burger, where I had the best onion rings I have ever tasted, it’s making me hungry as I type.

When we got back to the hotel room, I had to then really brush Lottie’s hair, due to the wind, her hair was extremely knotted!
